The wedding album: why I have mine made by Dreambook (and how we design it together)
Not a book with flimsy pages: a true keepsake, with 800 gsm pages, printed on Fuji photo paper and made in Europe. Where my albums come from, and how we design them together.
Wedding- My albums have rigid 800 gsm pages: they don't dog-ear, they don't warp, and they lie completely flat.
- Each page is a real photographic print on Fuji DPII paper, certified by Fujifilm.
- We design the album together: you pick your favorites, I build the story, you give the final OK.
A gallery is handy: you share it, download it, watch it on the TV. But you open a gallery three times in the first year, then it gets lost somewhere on your phone. An album stays on the coffee table. You bring it out at family dinners, you lend it to your mom, your kids flip through it twenty years from now. It's the object that tells the story of your day.
Not a photo book: a true keepsake
I didn't want an album with flimsy pages that get dog-eared after three viewings. I wanted something with real weight, something you open with care, that lasts through the years without wearing out.
- 800 gsm pages: the thickest paper weight there is. Every page is as rigid as art board.
- They don't dog-ear, bend or warp, even after years of being leafed through.
- They lie flat, with no fold in the middle: your double-page photos stay whole.

Where do my albums come from?
I have them made by Dreambook, a European workshop that specializes in albums for professional photographers. Rather than a mass-market service, I chose a European maker that works with real raw materials and stands behind the quality and longevity of its albums. It's the same level of care I put into my photos.
My albums are from the Basic collection, designed for people who love photography. The cover is made in one piece from a photographic print, so it can feature the photo of your choice.
Real photo paper, certified by Fujifilm
The pages aren't printed like a magazine: they're real photographic prints on Fuji DPII, a professional paper certified by Fujifilm. The paper is exposed to light, then developed with photographic chemicals, just like a lab print.
The result: remarkable sharpness, a thick and rigid base, and colors that last for a very long time. It's one of the papers most widely used by professional photographers around the world.

How we design it together
- Your favorites. You receive your gallery and mark your favorite photos.
- The story. Starting from your favorites, I build the album like a story, with a beginning, chapters and an ending. I balance the big moments, the details and your loved ones, and I let color and black-and-white images talk to each other from one page to the next.
- Your feedback. I send you a proposed layout. You change anything you like: a photo, the order, a spread.
- Production. Once you love everything, I send it off to be made, and I check the album when it arrives before handing it to you.
