Wedding: a passionate kiss, the bride's hands resting on the groom's light grey suit

Wedding photographer · Aix-en-Provence Your wedding in Aix, in the light of the Sainte-Victoire.

From country houses to the old town's little streets, I tell the story of your day as you live it, with no stiff poses.

Aix-en-Provence, 30 minutes from home.

I live in Marseille and I come to Aix very often: for weddings in the country houses and estates around the city, for sessions in the gardens, or just to stroll along the cours Mirabeau. Aix is less than an hour's drive away: no travel fee, and I already know the light, the journeys and the quiet little spots for your couple portraits.

The places

My favourite spots for your photos in Aix.

01

The country houses and estates around Aix

Plane tree avenues, stone façades, olive trees: most wedding venues around Aix already have everything you need. We often take your couple portraits on site, without wasting time on the road.

02

The Sainte-Victoire as a backdrop

Around Le Tholonet, Vauvenargues or the Bimont dam, the mountain changes colour at sunset. If your venue looks onto it, we make the most of it.

03

The old town

The fountains of the cours Mirabeau, the mansions of the Mazarin quarter, the shady little squares: perfect for a few photos in town after the town hall.

04

The fields and vineyards around Aix

In June, the wheat fields and vineyards around Puyricard or Rognes give a beautiful golden light, a few minutes from the estates.

Good to know

What to know before you book.

Travel fees

None: Aix is less than an hour's drive from Marseille, it's included in every package.

The best light

In summer, the sun sets around 9:15 pm in Aix. I help you time the drinks reception and your couple portraits to make the most of it, without taking you away from your guests.

The July and August heat

I advise keeping group photos in the shade and planning your couple portraits for the end of the day. I go through your timeline to avoid moments when everyone is melting in the sun.

Your questions

What I'm asked most often.

Tap a question to read the answer.

Do you travel all around Aix?
Yes: Aix, Le Tholonet, Puyricard, Venelles, Éguilles, Lambesc, Rognes, Trets, Gardanne… Anywhere less than an hour from Marseille has no travel fee.
Do you know my venue?
If I've never been there, I study the venue before your wedding (photos, layout, where the sun sets) and talk it through with you or your wedding planner. On the day, I arrive early to scout the best spots.
Do you also do the film?
Yes, with Thomas, my partner. We always work together, with walkie-talkies: you get photo and film without two teams stepping on each other's toes.
Can we take photos in town on the day?
Of course. After a ceremony at Aix town hall, for example, we can take a few photos in the old town before heading to your venue. We plan it together in your timeline.
How far ahead should we book?
For a Saturday between May and September, often 12 to 18 months ahead. Write to me as soon as you have your date: I'll tell you straight away if I'm free.

Who we are

Léna, and sometimes Thomas with me.

As a former model, I know how it feels in front of the camera. As a former TV journalist, I learned to observe and catch the moment as it happens. Thomas, my partner, films weddings with me.
