Privacy Your data, clearly explained.
What I keep, why, for how long, and how to ask me to erase everything. No jargon.
Last updated: October 2026
Who is responsible for your data?
Léna Maruitte (Léna Maruitte Photographie), reachable at contact@lenamaruitte-photographie.com. I'm the one you write to with any question about your data.
What I collect
- When you write to me (form, email, phone, social media): your name, your contact details, your date, your venue and what you tell me about your plans.
- When you book : your contact details, your contract, your payments and your invoices.
- During planning : your answers to the questionnaire and what you add to your Notebook (timeline, list of group photos…).
- Your photos, of course, and those of your guests at a wedding or an event.
- Face search in the gallery: if you use a selfie to find your photos, it is used only for that search.
Why I use them
- To reply to you and send you a proposal (your inquiry).
- Preparing and carrying out your session or your wedding, delivering your photos (our contract).
- Keeping my accounts (legal obligation).
- Post a few photos on my website or social media, only if you said yes (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time).
I never sell your data and I never sign you up for a newsletter without your consent.
Who can access it
Me, and Thomas when he's working on your film. And the tools I need to do my work:
- Le Bureau : my management tool, hosted by o2switch in France (inquiries, bookings, quotes, contracts, invoices and payments).
- Pic-Time : your online galleries.
- o2switch : hosting for the website and your Notebook.
- Dreambook : printing your album (only the chosen photos and the delivery address).
Some of these services may store data outside the European Union; in that case, they commit to protecting it according to European rules (standard contractual clauses).
How long I keep them
- An inquiry that went nowhere: 3 years after our last exchange.
- Your contract: 5 years after the end of the service.
- Your invoices: 10 years (accounting requirement).
- Your online galleries: 6 months for a wedding, about 1 month for a session. After that, I keep a backup of your photos for 1 year, to help you out if you lose them.
Your rights
At any time, you can ask me to see, correct, delete or retrieve your data, or refuse to have a photo published. Write to me at contact@lenamaruitte-photographie.com, I'll reply within one month at most (usually much sooner).
If you believe I haven’t respected your rights, you can contact the CNIL (cnil.fr).
Cookies
This site only uses the cookies it needs to work (for example, to keep you logged in to your Notebook). Analytics cookies (Google Analytics) are only set with your consent, which you give or refuse in the banner shown on your first visit. Your choice is kept for 6 months, and you can change your mind at any time by clicking “Cookies” at the bottom of any page.
