Wedding, couple or engagement session: the sea, the cliffs and the evening light do much of the work. I do the rest.

The calanques, my favourite playground.

Cassis is about thirty minutes from Marseille. I photograph weddings, couples, mums-to-be and families there, always at the same time of day: when the sun sinks over Cap Canaille and everything turns golden. I know where to go to get the sea without the crowds, and without making you walk for two hours in a dress or a suit.

Cap Canaille and the Route des Crêtes

The highest sea cliffs in France, red at sunset, with the whole bay of Cassis below. An incredible setting for a couple session or your wedding portraits.

The harbour and the little streets

Colourful façades, boats, café terraces: ideal for a few livelier, more urban photos in the early evening.

Port-Miou and the nearby calanques

Coves you can reach on foot in no time, white rock and turquoise water. We choose an accessible spot together, depending on your outfit and the season.

The Cassis vineyards

Wine estates between the sea and the hills: rows of vines, stone terraces, and often the sea in the distance.

What to know before you book.

Travel fees

None for a wedding: Cassis is less than an hour from Marseille, it's included in every package.

Access to the calanques in summer

From June to September, access to the hills can be closed on days of high fire risk. We check together the day before, and there's always a plan B by the sea.

The wind

The mistral can blow hard in Cassis. It makes for beautiful photos (veil and hair in the wind), but I recommend a hairstyle that holds and a veil that isn't too light.

Can we do a couple session in the calanques?

Yes, it's actually one of my favourite sessions. We go at the end of the day, enjoy the golden light, and I guide you with simple little actions: walking, talking to each other, laughing. €200 for 10 edited photos.

What about engagement photos or a proposal?

With pleasure. For a surprise proposal, we plan everything in secret: I hide, and I photograph the moment everything changes.

Do you do maternity sessions in Cassis?

Yes: the seaside and the rocks in the evening light are beautiful for a baby bump. The maternity session is €230 for 15 edited photos.

Do we have to walk a lot?

No. I choose spots you can reach in a few minutes, suited to your outfit (and your shoes). If you love hiking, we can go further, but it's never required.

What happens if it's too windy or rainy?

For a session, we postpone free of charge. For a wedding, I adapt: shelters, the harbour's little streets, the venue's interiors. There's always a solution, and often very lovely photos.

As a former model, I know how it feels in front of the camera. As a former TV journalist, I learned to observe and catch the moment as it happens. Thomas, my partner, films weddings with me.
